Tam Phan has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Starting in 1992, Phan provided engineering and analytical support for NAVAIR on a project called TACAMO Airborne Strategic Communications Aircraft. From 1993 to 1995, Phan worked as a System Engineer for Computer Science Corporation, where they integrated and installed a document management/imaging system for NAVSEA Submarine personnel. In 1995, Phan joined Orkand Corporation as a Database Specialist responsible for developing and implementing a worldwide immigrant visa system for the U.S. Department of State.

Phan then joined Universal Systems in 1996 as a Project/Program Manager, overseeing IT projects for various government entities. This included managing the development of a budget formulation system for the Chief of Naval Operations and a Decision Support System for the Naval Research Lab.

From 1999 to 2007, Phan worked at Sprint Nextel as a Sr. Manager in Sales Operations. They were responsible for managing all aspects of sales for the VP of telesales/websales, including budgeting, inventory, credit and activation, marketing materials, and sales promotions.

In 2007, Phan became the VP of Analytics and Finance at Simplexity, LLC. They provided data analysis and executive level reporting to drive operational efficiencies, increase sales, maximize profits, and reduce churn. Phan also managed revenue recognition and financial schedules as part of the monthly close package, working closely with telecom providers and partners.

From 2014 to 2018, Phan worked as a Business Development Executive at US Transactions Corporation, primarily focused on non-profit and associations. Phan hosted roundtable discussions and events for CEOs, CIOs, and CFOs and led development efforts for credit card software integration with member services software.

Most recently, in 2018, Phan joined BridgeStreet Global Hospitality as the Vice President of Financial Planning Analysis. They are responsible for the overall company budget, analytics, and financial reporting. Phan leads a team that provides executive-level reporting to drive operational efficiencies, increase sales, maximize profits, and identify issues impacting financial metrics. They also implemented a comprehensive global forecast for the executive team to review and provide recommendations for increasing profitability.
