John Scherer

John Scherer serves as the Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Rimini Street since December 2020, where responsibilities include collaborating with senior leadership on strategic initiatives, managing a team of FP&A professionals, and implementing the Sales Planning Module in Workday Adaptive Planning. Previously, John held the position of Senior Director at Welltok, Inc., overseeing month-end close processes and financial modeling while implementing NetSuite ERP and delivering automated reporting solutions. John’s extensive experience also includes a long tenure at Charter Communications as Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, where management of financial operations for a $2B annual revenue organization occurred, complemented by earlier roles in financial analysis and business systems at EchoStar Corporation. John holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Administration and Management from Regis University.
