Casey K. Sacks is currently the President at BridgeValley Community & Technical College. Prior to this position, Sacks served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary at the U.S. Department of Education from December 2018 to January 2021. Sacks has also held the position of Interim Vice Chancellor at the Community and Technical College System of West Virginia from January 2021 to June 2021. Additionally, Sacks served as the Vice Chancellor at the Community and Technical College System of West Virginia from December 2016 to November 2018. Prior to these positions, Sacks was the Assistant Provost at Colorado Community College System from January 2009 to December 2016.
Dr. Sacks holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from Bowling Green State University, a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Colorado State University. Casey is also certified by The Ohio State University in DACUM (Develop A Curriculum) and by the Community College of Aurora in Mediation.
