William Usher

William Usher has extensive experience in virtualization engineering, currently serving as the Virtualization Engineering Lead at Bridgewater Associates since October 2011. Prior to this role, William worked at IBM Global Services as Lead VMware Architect, where significant accomplishments included implementing a real-time trading platform on VMware vSphere 4.1. William's earlier roles include Solutions Architect at F3 Technology Partners, focused on architecting VMware ESX clusters, and Research Assistant at the University of Massachusetts, where responsibilities involved scripting for network setup and benchmarking. William's educational background includes a degree in Computer Science from Manchester Community College and studies at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and the University of Connecticut.
