Michael Claeren

Michael Claeren is an experienced professional in commercial strategy and operations, currently serving as the Director of Strategy & Innovation at Bridgewater Bank since June 2023. Michael's role centers on developing long-term strategic principles to enhance operations in the Alternative Mortgage sector and bridging connections with the parent company, AMA. Prior to this, Michael provided consulting services on commercial strategy for various aviation and travel projects, and held senior leadership roles at Canadian North and Central Mountain Air, overseeing substantial revenue management and commercial airline strategies. With a foundational career at WestJet that included leadership across various financial and operational functions, Michael has developed expertise in revenue optimization, strategic planning, and stakeholder management.
