Arnaa Alcon

Arnaa Alcon is a distinguished academic leader with extensive experience in higher education, currently serving as the Interim Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs, as well as the Dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Bridgewater State University since September 2004. Prior roles include Director and Chair of the School of Social Work and Professor at Bridgewater State University. Alcon was a member of the Heller School Alumni Board at Brandeis University from July 2011 to May 2016 and participated in the National Association of Deans and Directors in Social Work Leadership Academy in Aging through the New York Academy on Medicine Social Work Leadership Institute from September 2013 to June 2014. Educational qualifications include a PhD from The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University, an MSW in Social Work from Boston University, and a BA in English from Amherst College.
