Ed Huntress

Ed Huntress is an accomplished IT Systems Analyst and Red Hat System Administrator with extensive experience in managing server and storage infrastructure at Bridgewater State University since November 2012. Responsibilities include hands-on system management, patch assessment and installation, security management, and user administration for both Windows and Linux servers. Prior to this role, Ed Huntress served as an Infrastructure Engineer at Rue La La, where responsibilities included installing and maintaining Red Hat Enterprise for e-commerce sites. At The Boston Globe, Ed Huntress was a Unix Administrator and DBA Team Lead, overseeing critical 24/7 production systems and managing the Database Team for on-site support. Ed Huntress holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Bridgewater State University and has further education from Boston University and Northeastern University.
