Chris Patch has extensive experience in education, particularly in teaching reading to children with special needs and young learners. Currently serving as a Reading Tutor for children in grades K-2 at Huy Elementary School since January 2015, Chris also works as a Substitute Intervention Specialist and K-1 grade teacher in area schools. Prior experience includes teaching reading, math, science, social studies, and bible to Kindergarten children at Xenos Christian Schools for two decades, as well as serving as a Special Education Teacher at New Albany Elementary. Professional background also includes teaching reading to children on the autism spectrum at Helping Hands Center for Special Needs. Chris holds a Bachelor's degree in Special Education from The Ohio State University, earned from 1980 to 1983.
