Dai Phan has extensive work experience in the field of behavioral health services. In 2009, they joined Bridgeway Behavioral Health Services as the Director of Quality Improvement and Community Mental Health Center Outpatient Services. Dai also worked at Bridgeway Rehabilitation Services, Inc. as the Quality Improvement Director during the same period. In 2011, Dai Phan co-founded Synergy Counseling Center, LLC and served as a Co-Founder until 2015. In 2015, they founded the Center for Hope and Recovery, LLC.

Dai Phan holds a Master's Degree in Social Work from the Rutgers Graduate School of Social Work. They also have a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Rutgers University–New Brunswick.
