Melissa Garza Garrison has a range of work experience in different industries and roles throughout their career. In 2006, they worked as the Director of Operations at CHILDREN AT RISK until 2008. Melissa then moved on to become a Fundraising Consultant for a year at their own company, Self Employed. In 2009, they joined Bridgeway Capital Management as a Partner, Business Operations and later took on the role of Director of Talent in an unspecified year. Melissa continues to work at Bridgeway Capital Management.
Melissa Garza Garrison, SHRM-SCP, holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Behavioral Sciences from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, which they obtained from 2002 to 2004. Prior to that, they also earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Behavioral Sciences from the same institution, from 2000 to 2002. In addition to their formal education, Melissa has obtained the SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM Certification in January 2019.
