Dr. Kai-Uwe Scherer

Dr. Kai-Uwe Scherer is a seasoned professional in the fields of IT project management, banking, and insurance consulting. Currently serving as a Senior Consultant at BridgingIT GmbH since February 2020, Dr. Scherer previously held various roles at Sopra Banking Software, including Leading Analyst and Team Manager for System Integration from October 2014 to January 2020, where responsibilities included analysis and programming for the Sopra Banking Platform. Prior experience includes positions at COR&FJA Deutschland GmbH, Allianz Lebensversicherung AG, and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, where Dr. Scherer contributed as a software engineer, consultant, and researcher. Dr. Scherer earned two doctoral degrees in IT project management and mathematical computer science from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
