Katya Putintseva

Katya Putintseva is a seasoned professional in data science and biotechnology with extensive experience in founding and leading initiatives in the field. As Co-Founder of Briefly Bio since September 2022, Katya focuses on developing tools for scientists to enhance collaboration on experimental work. Previously, as Co-Founder and Data Science lead at SHK Bio, strategic automation and data strategies were crafted for biotech startups. Katya's tenure at LabGenius included roles as Principal Data Scientist, Data Science Team Lead, Project Lead, and Data Scientist, significantly contributing to the company's growth and data strategies in drug discovery. Katya co-founded VOT design to improve visual communication in science and held postdoctoral research positions at the Institute of Science and Technology Austria and the Centre for Genomic Regulation, specializing in machine learning applications in protein research. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Molecular and Computational Immunology and a Master’s in Data Science.
