Frédéric Pattyn

Frédéric Pattyn, EMBA, has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Frédéric co-founded NOWJOBS, a successful HR tech company that operates in multiple countries. Frédéric has also been involved in academia, working as a doctoral researcher at Ghent University and a guest lecturer at Vlerick Business School. Frédéric has a passion for product management and has served as a member of the board of advisors for Paralect Accelerator and as a product management mentor for Start it Accelerate | @KBC. Additionally, they have experience in founding their own ventures, such as Aquila Ventures, and has worked as a product management consultant and project manager for other organizations. Frédéric has also contributed to the field of project management through their role as Director of New Media for the PMI Belgium Chapter. Frédéric is dedicated to making a positive impact and has been involved in humanitarian technology initiatives as a member of the board of directors for Human X Labs. Frédéric Pattyn, EMBA has a diverse education history. Frédéric holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Applied Economics from Ghent University, which they pursued from 2022 to 2027. Prior to that, they completed their Executive MBA at Quantic School of Business and Technology in the year 2021. Frédéric also has a teaching degree in Applied Business from Ghent University, which they obtained in 2011. Furthermore, they earned an MSc in Applied Business Administration with a specialization in Strategic Management from Ghent University in 2009, and a BSc in Applied Business Administration with a focus on Business & Economics from the same university in 2008. Additionally, Frédéric has obtained several certifications such as Board Member Training 2022 from Stella P., Young Guberna Member from GUBERNA - Instituut voor Bestuurders/Institut des Administrateurs in April 2022, and Product Management Professional from Blackblot - Product Management Expertise™ in 2017, among others.
