George Vélez

George Vélez is a multifaceted professional with extensive experience in security and graphic design. Currently serving as a Phase 2 Transportation Security Officer with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security since February 2023, George previously held roles as Phase 1 TSO and Transportation Security Officer, where responsibilities included passenger screening and responding to security breaches. In addition to security roles at SPARKS SECURITY SERVICES, INC. and SSC, Inc., George has built a solid graphic design career since 2006, providing innovative solutions as a freelance designer and working with various companies including The Creative Group and OneDsgns Creative. George holds a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from CT State Tunxis and an Associate of Arts and Sciences from Edison Job Corps Center.
