Head Of Medicinal Chemistry And Director Of The Lab For Drug Discovery In Neuroscience at Brigham and Women's Hospital

Kevin Hodgetts is an accomplished Associate Professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School since October 2015, focusing on medicinal chemistry solutions for CNS disease biology and drug discovery. Concurrently, Kevin serves as the Head of Medicinal Chemistry and Director of the Lab for Drug Discovery in Neuroscience at Brigham and Women's Hospital, where undergraduate and graduate students engage in drug discovery projects. A co-founder of Violet Therapeutics in 2021, Kevin previously held senior roles in medicinal chemistry at Galenea and Neurogen Corporation, contributing to the development of therapeutics for cognitive deficits and other CNS disorders. Kevin holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from The University of Salford and has completed post-doctoral research at institutions including The University of Texas at Austin and University College Dublin.
