Negar Farrokhzad

Negar Farrokhzad is a skilled scientist specializing in chloroplast engineering at Bright Biotech since October 2023, focusing on innovative protein production through plant genetic potential. Previously, Negar founded XenoClear, a biotech start-up aimed at promoting sustainability by developing a detection kit for xenoestrogens. At Accelerate ME, Negar played a foundational role in the UK's premier student start-up accelerator, assisting university entrepreneurs in business development. Prior volunteer experience includes serving as a Vaccine Specialist and Vaccinator for the Red Crescent Society, along with research collaboration at Omicsdade, contributing to a publication on metastatic breast cancer.
