Alex Philpott has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. Alex started their career at Hewlett Packard, where they held various roles including Network Support Specialist, Site Services Team Leader, IT Operations Manager, and Data Center Manager. At ClarityBlue, they served as the Manager of Data Center and IT Operations, where they played a key role in expanding the company's data center and managing IT operations. Later, they joined Boston Scientific as a Senior Global Network Manager and then became the Global Data Center Manager, where they were responsible for developing and implementing data center strategies, overseeing day-to-day operations, and managing budgets. Currently, Alex Philpott holds the position of VP, Global IT Services at Bright Horizons.
Alex Philpott attended Loughborough University from 1992 to 1996, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (Beng) degree in Civil Engineering. They then went on to study at the University of Surrey from 1996 to 1998, earning a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Management.
