Mara Guidi

Mara Guidi currently serves as the Lead R&D Chemist at Bright Path Laboratories, a position held since September 2021, and also works as a Research & Development Chemist Consultant. Prior experience includes serving as a PhD student at the Max Planck Institute for Colloids and Interfaces from June 2017 to September 2021, focusing on flow chemistry, automated synthesis, and organic synthesis. Earlier roles include a researcher position at BIOINDUSTRIA LABORATORIO ITALIANO MEDICINALI S.P.A., where responsibilities encompassed the synthesis of active pharmaceutical ingredients and the development of synthetic strategies and analytical methods. Additionally, Mara held a teaching assistant role in organic chemistry at the Università degli Studi di Genova in 2015. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces and Freie Universitaet Berlin, an MS in Organic Chemistry, and a BS in Chemistry and Chemical Technologies, all from the Università degli Studi di Genova.
