Amritha Rajan

Amritha Rajan has a diverse work experience in the field of energy efficiency and sustainability. Amritha is currently working as a Senior Project Manager at Bright Power, Inc., where they focus on energy efficiency and sustainability for building rehabilitation. Prior to this role, they were a Project Manager at the same company. Amritha also worked as a Sustainability Coordinator at OCV Architects, where they contributed to sustainability initiatives. Additionally, Amritha gained experience as an Assistant Sustainability Project Development Coordinator at the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation. Amritha also served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Iowa State University, where they focused on research projects. Amritha had internships with UNEP and the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation, where they gained exposure to international decision-making and worked on sustainable initiatives. Amritha Rajan obtained a Master's degree in Sustainability Studies from Iowa State University from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering at the College of Engineering Trivandrum, with a duration from 2011 to 2015. In terms of additional certifications, Amritha Rajan has acquired a Certified Passive House Designer recognition from the Passive House Institute in February 2022. Amritha also holds a LEED AP Building Design + Construction certification from Green Business Certification, Inc., earned in February 2021.
