Douglas Wilson has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Douglas started their career in 2008 with RBS Insurance- Direct Line, where they worked as a Motor Sales and Service Team Leader and Customer Contact Representative. In 2011, they briefly worked as a Marketing Co-ordinator at JHS Building Services, before joining Travel 2 as a Travel Sales Consultant.

In 2012, they joined Yomego as a Community Executive and later progressed to the role of Community Management Co-ordinator. From 2014 to 2015, they served as the Head of Community Management at Yomego.

Since 2015, Douglas has been working at Bright Signals, initially as a Community Manager, then as a Content Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Content Director at the company.

Douglas Wilson attended Largs Academy from 2000 to 2006, but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. Douglas then pursued a Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Music Business at James Watt College from 2006 to 2007. Later, they completed their Bachelor of Arts with Honors (BA Hons) in Business and Management at Glasgow Caledonian University from 2007 to 2011.
