Abhijith Jagannath

Abhijith Jagannath has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Abhijith started their career at Adobe Systems in 2008 as a Software Engineer, where they developed automation tools and ensured the quality assurance of software products. In 2012, they joined the Multimedia Processing Lab at the University of Texas at Arlington as a Graduate Research Assistant, conducting research on High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC) and maintaining the code base for HEVC HM 9.2.

Following this, Abhijith joined InterDigital Communications in 2013, where they held the role of Senior Engineer. Abhijith worked on the development and integration of video processing tools and SDKs, including Android signal processing SDK and PerceptFX - Video Preprocessing SDK. Abhijith completed their tenure at InterDigital Communications in 2016.

In the same year, Abhijith joined Brightcove as a Senior Software Engineer, contributing to cloud encoding, digital content distribution, and API design. Abhijith later took on the role of Staff Software Engineer before being promoted to Principal Engineer in 2021. At Brightcove, they focused on deployment, monitoring, and automation of cloud computing platforms.

Throughout their career, Abhijith has gained expertise in software development, cloud computing, video processing, and automation solutions.

Abhijith Jagannath holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, which was obtained from The University of Texas at Arlington between 2012 and 2014. Prior to this, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Electronics from Visvesvaraya Technological University, spanning from 2004 to 2008. In addition to their academic qualifications, Abhijith obtained certification as an Adobe Certified Expert from Adobe Systems in June 2011.
