Rocío Santos

Rocío Santos has extensive work experience in the software engineering industry. Rocío started their career in 2012 at Nasoft USA as a Qual A Engineer and worked there until 2015. Rocío then joined HCL Technologies as a Qual A Automation Engineer from 2015 to 2015. In 2015, they also joined Unosquare as a Qual automation engineer, where they executed functional testing and developed automation scripts for unit testing. In 2016, Rocío joined Ooyala as a Software Development Engineer, where they worked until 2019. Currently, they are employed at Brightcove, starting as a Senior Software Engineer and progressing to the role of Staff Software Engineer. In 2023, Rocío became an Engineering Manager at Brightcove. Throughout their career, Rocío has gained expertise in various software engineering roles and has displayed a strong focus on quality assurance and automation testing.

Rocío Santos holds a Master's degree in Information Technology from Universidad de Guadalajara, which they completed from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Administration from the same university, from 2003 to 2007. Additionally, Rocío has acquired additional certifications, including the Akamai Web Performance Foundations from Akamai Technologies, obtained in July 2021, and the AWS Certified Developer - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS), obtained in March 2021.
