Roland Pilod

Roland Pilod has extensive work experience in finance and operations roles. Roland is currently working as the VP of Finance for Brightcove, where they oversee financial planning and analysis. Prior to this, they served as the SVP of Global Commercial Finance at IRI.

Roland's previous experience includes roles at Transdev North America, where they worked as the Deputy CFO and later as the Vice President of Finance. In these positions, they managed accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Roland also supported growth and business development through financial modeling and pricing for bids and RFPs.

Before their time at Transdev, Roland was the CFO of MBCR, a partnership owned by Bombardier, Transdev, and ACI. Roland oversaw the financial operations of Boston's Commuter Rail.

Roland also has experience at Veolia North America, where they worked as a Controller and Finance Manager. In these roles, they handled business controlling, centralized accounting, payroll, and financial modeling to support business development. Roland also negotiated collective bargaining agreements with unions.

Earlier in their career, Roland worked as an Economic Development Intern at the Consulate General of France in Vancouver and as a Strategy Intern at Solvay. Roland also gained experience as a Consultant at Junior ESSEC Conseil, leading student-run consulting company in France. Roland started their career as a Business Development Intern at Lp Digital.

Roland Pilod completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business, Finance, and Entrepreneurship at ESSEC Business School from 1999 to 2004. In 2017, they enrolled in The University of Chicago Booth School of Business for The Executive Program for Prospective CFOs.
