Angela Carr is currently the Responsive Maintenance Manager at Brighter Places since December 2023. Prior to this role, Angela held various managerial positions in maintenance and estates management at organizations such as Stroud District Council, Young Mothers Group Trust, University of Bath, University of Bristol, Merlin Housing Society, and Curo. Angela also served as the Chair of the Young Mothers Group Trust and holds an education from Heriot-Watt University.

Welcome to Brighter Places! We are a new housing association for Bristol and surrounding areas created following the merger of United Communities and Solon South West on 1 April 2021. We manage 3,300 homes and serve more than 8,100 residents, and we have ambitious plans for our future. This is a new chapter in our proud history as a bigger, better housing association delivering excellent customer service, resident-led decision-making and developing and improving homes.
