Jessica Vallance-Tucker

Jessica Vallance-Tucker has a diverse work experience in the field of communications. Jessica is currently working at Octopus as the Head of Communications since March 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of Senior Communications Manager at Octopus from October 2021 to February 2022.

Before joining Octopus, Jessica worked at Vested - Communications Agency as an Associate Director from January 2020 to September 2021.

Their earlier work experience includes positions at Headland Consultancy, where they served as an Account Director from September 2017 to December 2019. Jessica also held the roles of Account Manager, Senior Account Executive, and Account Executive at Headland Consultancy from October 2015 to September 2017, September 2014 to October 2015, and January 2014 to September 2014, respectively.

Prior to their time at Headland Consultancy, Jessica worked at PIELLE Consulting Limited as an Account Executive from October 2012 to January 2014.

Jessica began their career as an Intern at Professional Public Relations from March 2011 to December 2011 and later worked as a Communications Consultant at Motuihe Trust from June 2011 to November 2011.

Jessica Vallance-Tucker attended Auckland Girls Grammar School from 2003 to 2007. Jessica then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Political Science at Victoria University of Wellington from 2008 to 2010.
