Carissa Shafto

Carissa Shafto is the current head of data and analytics at Brightfield. Carissa has also held the position of SVP, data analytics and governance, senior director of data factory, senior data scientist, and data governance specialist at Brightfield. In addition, they have been a data science postdoctoral fellow at Insight Data Science and a director of institutional effectiveness and institutional research analyst at Galen College of Nursing. Carissa has also been an NIH graduate research fellow at Indiana University School of Medicine.

Carissa Shafto holds a Bachelor's Degree from Northeastern University in Psychology & Linguistics and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from the University of Louisville in Experimental Psychology.
