C. Edward Chaplin

C. Edward Chaplin is the current Chairman at Brighthouse Financial. Prior to this, they were with MGIC Investment Corp., MBIA Inc., and Prudential Financial. C. was with Prudential Financial from January 1983 to December 2006, where they served as SVP and Treasurer. In this role, they led global cash management, short term investing and borrowing, capital and liquidity planning, financing, tax strategies and relationship management with regulators, rating agencies, and capital markets participants.

C. Edward Chaplin completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Rutgers College and then went on to obtain a Master's in City and Regional Planning from Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
