Carol Donovan Juel

Carol Donovan Juel serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Technology and Operating Officer at Synchrony since August 2014, where responsibilities include developing technology and operations strategies to enhance customer experiences and modernize engagement with cardholders. With over 25 years of experience, Carol has significantly contributed to innovative solutions at Synchrony and previously led the technology separation and digital transformation post the company's split from GE as Chief Information Officer. Additional roles include Board Director at Brighthouse Financial and Girls Who Code, a member of the CNBC Technology Executive Council, and Advisory Board Member at the University of Connecticut’s School of Engineering. Carol's earlier career includes leadership positions at GE Capital Retail Finance and Accenture, supported by a Bachelor’s degree from the College of the Holy Cross.
