John L. Rosenthal

John Rosenthal is currently the EVP & Chief Investment Officer at Brighthouse Financial. Prior to this, they worked at MetLife for 33 years, where they started as a Managing Director in Investments Institutional Business in 1984. In 2000, they became Co-Head of Fixed Income and Equity Investments, and in 2003, Head of Core Securities. From 2011 until their departure in 2017, they were Head of Global Portfolio Management.

John L. Rosenthal attended Cornell University, where they earned their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Accounting and Finance. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics from Franklin & Marshall College.
