Benjamin Cheung has more than 25 years of experience in various roles within the technology industry. Benjamin has worked as a Principal Software Architect at BrightInsight since November 2020. Prior to that, they spent five years at GE Healthcare as a Senior Staff Software Architect, where they played a key role in establishing and defining the architecture framework for Imaging Service Foundation and led feature solution design. Benjamin worked as a Technology Consultant at B M R from 2006 to 2015, specializing in mobility applications and developing iOS applications for personal financial analysis. Benjamin also served as an Engineering Manager at Panduit from 2013 to 2015 and as a Principal Engineer at Tellabs from 2008 to 2013. At Tellabs, they led system requirements and design for ASON control plane projects and contributed to product improvement and research projects in optical transport network and wireless broadband access. Earlier in their career, Benjamin held positions at Siemens, Nortel, Cognos, and CAE, where they gained expertise in network management, software architecture, and object-oriented technology.

Benjamin Cheung holds a B.Sc in Computer Science from Huaqiao University, which they earned between 1983 and 1987. Benjamin also completed an MSc in Object Oriented Language Design at Concordia University from 1990 to 1992.
