Hans Goertz

Hans Goertz is a skilled microscopist and spectroscopist currently employed at Brightlands Chemelot Campus since January 2023. Previously, Hans held various roles at DSM from August 1986 to September 2023, specializing in FT-IR microscopy and optical microscopy of polymers, focusing on the characterization of contaminants and forensic investigations of defects in products. Hans also contributed to product development for polymeric films and fibers. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Polymer Technology from McCrone Research Institute (2007), a course in Polymer Science and Technology (1990-1992), and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from 1982 to 1986.
