Daniel Betancourt has a diverse range of work experience. Daniel is currently working at Brightline Trains as the Director of Brand Management & Creative Development. Prior to this, they worked at Marriott Vacations Worldwide as the Director of Global Brand Strategy and Management. Daniel also has experience at Travel + Leisure Co. and Orlando Health in various brand marketing roles. In addition, Daniel has worked at Marriott Vacations Worldwide as an Account Executive in Creative Services and at Vantage Communications as a Public Relations Account Coordinator. Daniel began their career with a news production apprenticeship at WKMG and was also involved in radio production at the University of Central Florida's WKNT Knightcast Radio. Daniel has also gained experience working in the entertainment industry at Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights.

Daniel Betancourt has a diverse educational background in business administration, advertising/public relations, and management. Daniel earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Business Management from the University of Central Florida, completing their studies from 2003 to 2007. Later, from 2012 to 2014, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Advertising/Public Relations from the same institution. Building upon their undergraduate education, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Florida, attending from 2016 to 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Daniel has also obtained several certifications. In 2022, they completed a certification in Print Production from LinkedIn. Daniel also obtained a certification in Brand Strategy from LinkedIn during the same year. Furthermore, they completed a certification titled "Board Member Orientation: An Introduction to Nonprofit Board Service" from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College in January 2022.
