Nicole Bauer, MS, LMHC, LPC has gained extensive experience in the field of mental health counseling. Nicole is currently working as a Licensed Independent Mental Health Counselor at South Shore Counseling Services. Prior to this, they served as a Behavioral Health Therapist at Brightline and as a Staff Therapist, LMHC at Northeast Addictions Treatment Center. Nicole has also worked as a Clinician at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, where they provided therapeutic services to students with mental health disorders and served as a STARR clinician for individuals in the custody of DCF. Before joining Devereux, they worked as a Staff Therapist at South Bay Community Services - Compassion | Outreach | Wellness. Nicole started their career as a Behavioral Health Technician at Adelbrook and gained experience as a Mental Health Intern at Child & Family.

Nicole Bauer, MS, LMHC, LPC has a strong educational background in the field of mental health counseling. Nicole earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mental Health Counseling/Counselor from Suffolk University, where they studied from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they attended Roger Williams University from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology. Nicole also pursued Continued Advanced Graduation Study in Mental Health Counseling/Counselor at Suffolk University from 2017 to 2018.

In addition to their educational achievements, Nicole has obtained various certifications. Nicole is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, licensed by the Board of Allied Mental Health in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Nicole obtained this license in November 2020. Nicole is also a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in West Virginia, licensed by the West Virginia Board of Mental Health, and in the State of Louisiana, licensed by the State of Louisiana Board of Examiners. Nicole obtained these licenses in April 2022 and February 2022, respectively.

Furthermore, Nicole holds certifications in CPR/AED/First Aid obtained from Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health in August 2018, and in Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) obtained from South Bay Community Services - Compassion | Outreach | Wellness in May 2017.
