Shiva Jones

Shiva Jones has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Starting in 2004, Shiva worked at Stanford University School of Medicine in various roles, including Immunology Admin, Associate Grant Writer, and Summer Intern. From 2009 to 2011, Shiva worked as a Paralegal at SHAMIYEH & SHAMIEH, and from 2011 to 2012, as a Legal Assistant at Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP. In 2012, Shiva took on the role of Tasting Room Manager at Sonoma Valley Portworks, followed by a position as Sales Support Specialist at Anthem. From 2014 to 2019, Shiva worked at Anthem again, first as a Business Analyst II and later as a Business Change Manager. In 2014, Shiva briefly worked as a Client Manager at Zenefits. Most recently, Shiva joined Marsh & McLennan Agency - West in 2019 as an Employee Health & Benefits Consultant, and is currently working at Brightline as a Solutions Consultant in Health Plans. Shiva's current role at Brightline is expected to progress into the role of Associate Vice President in Commercial Sales in 2023.

Shiva Jones holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from Saint Mary's College of California, which was completed in 2016. In 2015, Jones also pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at La Salle BCN, focusing on Doing Business in World Regions. Prior to this, Jones obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science from San Diego State University. In terms of additional certifications, Jones acquired the Group Benefits Disability Specialist certification from Hartford School of Insurance in July 2019, as well as the Voluntary Benefits Specialist certification from the same institution in the same month and year.
