Abhishek Thurumalla

Abhishek Thurumalla is a seasoned engineering professional currently serving as Vice President of Transmission and Interconnection at BrightNight since August 2021, previously holding the role of Transmission Planning Manager. Prior experience includes a tenure at Quanta Technology, LLC from July 2016 to August 2021, where Abhishek progressed through positions from Principal Engineer to Senior Engineer and Power Systems Engineer III. Earlier professional experience encompasses tutoring undergraduate students in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, and Physics at Arizona State University, as well as internships focusing on electrical engineering projects at Quanta Technology, LLC, SVG Electricals, and BHEL. Abhishek holds a Master’s Degree in Power Systems from Arizona State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Puducherry.
