Amir Valibeygi

Amir Valibeygi's work experience includes roles in various companies. Amir started their career in 2014 as an Engineer at Endurance Wind Power Inc. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Renewables and Energy Storage Researcher at UC San Diego. In 2017, they interned as a Controls Intern at ASML before joining Solar Turbines as an Energy Storage Controls Engineer, where they worked from 2017 to 2020. Since 2020, they have been with BrightNight, initially as a Senior Engineer in Energy Analytics, then promoted to Manager of Analytics, and currently serving as the Director of Analytics.

Amir Valibeygi holds a Ph.D. in Systems and Controls from UC San Diego, which they obtained from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Science (MSc) in Mechatronic Systems Engineering at Simon Fraser University from 2013 to 2015. Amir began their academic journey by obtaining a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Mechanical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic, where they studied from 2009 to 2013.
