Rodney Metcalf

Rodney Metcalf has extensive work experience in the energy sector. Rodney started their career at Dillard Smith Construction Company as a Class A Journeyman Lineman. After that, they joined BrightRidge formerly Johnson City Power Board as an Associate Chief Operations Officer, where they served for nearly a decade. In 2014, Metcalf took on the role of Chief Operations Officer at BrightRidge. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Executive Officer at Mountain Electric Cooperative, Inc., starting in 2023.

Rodney Metcalf began their education journey at Rutledge High or Tusculum University in the year 2020. During this time, they pursued an AS in Electrical and a BS in Business, both of which they completed around 2021. Additionally, Rodney is currently in the process of completing their MBA, also in Business. In the same year, they joined Tusculum University to pursue a Master's degree in Business Administration, specializing in Business Administration and Management, General.
