Joshua Lambert, MA, LCMHC, LADC has a diverse range of work experience in the mental health and substance abuse field. Joshua obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Photography and Social Change from Burlington College, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Following that, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Contemplative Counseling Psychology at Naropa University from 2012 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Joshua has obtained various certifications to enhance their therapeutic skills. Joshua completed an Emotionally Focused Therapy Externship at Tulane University in April 2022. In April 2019, they obtained certification in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy from PESI. In November 2018, they completed FIT (Feedback Informed Treatment) training. Joshua has also received specialized training in TF-CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Trauma), CALM (Counseling on Access to Lethal Means), CAMS (Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality), and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI).

Furthermore, Joshua has obtained a certification as a Youth Mental Health First Aid Trainer from the National Council for Behavioral Health, although the specific time of obtaining this certification is not provided.
