Matthew Neutra has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Matthew began their career as a Field Geologist for CDM Federal Programs, where they conducted Superfund Site Assessments and utilized GPS data collection for major projects. This experience motivated him to pursue further education, leading to the completion of their M. Later, they worked as a GIS Analyst at Harvard Design and Mapping, followed by a role as GIS Manager at Skyline Software Systems, where they specialized in 3D virtual city creation. At Bose Corporation, Matthew held multiple positions, starting as a Manager of Experience Prototyping and progressing to become the Audio Experience Innovation Lead. Here, they were responsible for creating unique prototype experiences and producing video and audio content. Currently, Matthew is employed at BrightSign LLC as a Senior Product Manager and Lead Experience Engineer. In this role, they drive the vision for customer experience and software features, successfully implementing agile methodology.

Matthew Neutra received a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, which they attended from 1987 to 1991. Matthew then pursued a Master of Science degree in Geo-Information Science/Management from Salem State University from 1994 to 1997. Prior to their university education, they completed high school at Brewster Academy in 1987 and obtained their high school diploma from Dover Sherborn Region Highschool in 1986. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained a certification in "Dealing with Difficult People in Your Office" from LinkedIn in 2021.
