Matthew Blain

Matthew Blain currently serves as Vice President of Operations and Vice President of Land at BrightSky Residential since December 2022. Prior to this role, Matthew accumulated extensive experience at The New Home Company Inc. from February 2014 to December 2022, where positions included Director of Forward Planning and Senior Project Manager, focusing on land acquisition feasibility and project management. Earlier in their career, Matthew worked as an Assistant Site Manager and Purchasing Assistant, and served as a Project Estimator at Azusa Pacific University. Matthew's military background includes six years of service in the U.S. Army as an Infantry Staff Sergeant and Squad Leader, with notable combat experience and several awards including the Soldiers Medal for heroism and a Purple Heart. Academically, Matthew holds a Master of Business Administration from USC Marshall School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Azusa Pacific University.
