Brian Scythes

Brian Scythes is a seasoned telecommunications professional with extensive experience in network implementation and engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Network Implementation Engineer at Brightspeed since October 2022, Brian specializes in designing and project managing both ISP and OSP projects. Previously, Brian spent a decade at Lumen Technologies in various roles including Senior Network Implementation Engineer, Construction Technician, and Network Technician, focusing on the turn-up, testing, and troubleshooting of communication systems and maintaining Nortel DMS-100 and DMS-10 offices. Earlier experience includes positions at CenturyLink, where responsibilities involved installing and maintaining customer premises equipment, and roles at Verizon and AT&T, covering fiber splicing and outside plant engineering.
