Katie Fortier

Katie Fortier currently serves as the Director of the People Advisory Team and HR Compliance at Brightspeed since August 2022, leading a team of HR professionals to ensure a fair and equitable employee experience. Prior to this role, Katie was the Director of Human Resources - Employee & Labor Relations at Lumen Technologies, overseeing a team responsible for managing both union and non-union employee relations, as well as HR processes. Previous experience includes roles at CenturyLink, where Katie worked in talent acquisition and as a lead HR business partner, and at Dentons, Waddell & Reed, and Sprint Nextel in various legal and HR capacities. Katie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies from Webster University and an Associate of Arts in Paralegal Studies from Kansas City Kansas Community College.
