Lauren Lynch has worked as a Principal Network Engineer at Brightspeed since 2023, responsible for overseeing the technical operation of laboratory environments and creating test plans for new hardware and network designs. Prior to this, they worked at Spectrum (formerly Time Warner Cable) from 2014 to 2023, holding roles such as Network Engineer III and Network Engineer II, where they designed, built, and maintained data center networking solutions and provided reliable network access in the NYC region. Lauren also has experience as a Systems Engineer, troubleshooting and supporting video servers and coordinating upgrade projects. Before joining Spectrum, Lauren owned Digital Professionals, LLC from 2009 to 2015, and worked at Midlands Technical College and the University of South Carolina in network administration and distance learning coordination roles. Lauren also has previous experience in helpdesk and technical support, cost analysis in accounting and finance, and database and application architecture.
Lauren Lynch completed an Associate of Science (AS) & Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Computer Engineering at Midlands Technical College in 2012. Lauren later pursued a dual degree at the University of South Carolina, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BSE) degree in Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Philosophy (BA) degree in Philosophy, with a focus on Computer Engineering and Philosophy.
