Matt Walburg

Matt Walburg is an experienced IT professional currently serving as IT Director of Cloud Operations and Data Centers at Brightspeed since July 2022. With a substantial tenure at Duke Energy Corporation from March 2011 to July 2022, Matt progressed from IT Manager I managing the IT Help Desk, to IT Manager overseeing Middleware Web Operations, and finally to Sr. IT Manager, where several IT teams were managed in the Critical Infrastructure Environment. Prior roles include Systems Programmer III at Duke Energy, IT Analyst III at Valcom Computer Consulting, and various positions at Best Buy including Supervisor and Sales Specialist. Matt holds degrees from Northeastern University (2012 - 2017) and Northern Kentucky University (2000 - 2005).
