Larry Schmidlapp

Larry Schmidlapp is a Vice President at Brightstar. He currently serves on the boards of Amerit Fleet Solutions, Texas Water Supply Company and Gateway Dealer Network, all Brightstar portfolio companies. Prior to joining Brightstar, Larry was a Senior Associate at Fifth Street Asset Management on the investment team where he evaluated and executed direct debt investments in private middle market companies. Prior to Fifth Street, Larry was an Associate at TAP Advisors where he focused on executing merger & acquisition transactions for clients in the telecommunications and media sectors.

Larry began his career at AGC Partners, a boutique investment bank in Boston primarily advising clients in the technology sector. Larry is a CFA charterholder and holds a B.S. in Finance from Wake Forest University.
