Claire Woodsum

Claire Woodsum has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Claire started their career as a Guidance Department Chair, Librarian, and Teacher at The American School of Bombay from 1988 to 1990.

Claire then co-founded The Foreside Company in 1990, where they served as President. In this role, they managed all marketing, line development, sales, and inventory forecasting, successfully growing the business to $17 million.

From 2010 to 2015, Claire worked at Foreside Home & Garden, a division of Transpac, as Vice President of Marketing & Design. Their responsibilities included product design and development, strategic brand management, marketing, tradeshows, and key accounts. Claire also traveled extensively to China and India, managing international factory relationships.

In 2015, Claire joined Creative Co-Op, Inc. as the Vice President of Business Development. Here, they implemented new structures and processes within the design department of the company's China division, York Asia. Claire also developed the key account line for the York Asia showroom and managed a team of designers in China and the United States.

Currently, Claire is the Owner and Community & Customer Liaison at BrightStar Care, a position they have held since October 2017.

Claire Woodsum attended Duxbury High School from 1974 to 1978. Claire then went on to complete their high school education at Bernards High School from 1976 to 1978. After graduating from high school, Claire pursued their undergraduate studies at Bowdoin College from 1978 to 1982, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree. The field of study for each of these educational experiences is not provided.
