Meghan Smith

Meghan Smith began their work experience in 2005 as a COTA/L at Allegheny Chesapeake Physical Therapy. In this role, they assisted occupational therapists in providing rehabilitative services to clients with various impairments. Meghan verified client information, helped clients improve their quality of life, and taught skills to increase independence. Meghan worked in this role until March 2010.

In February 2016, Meghan joined BrightStar Care as a Customer Care Manager. Meghan scheduled staff, ensured care and staff coverage 24/7, and managed client service agreements. Meghan also supported intake calls and maintained service standards. Meghan held this position until December 2018.

Upon joining BrightStar Care, Meghan also took on the role of Director of Operations. In this role, they led, managed, and held accountable all branch staff. Meghan developed partnerships with key management teams to maximize patient-centered care, revenues, and profitability. Meghan focused on improving operations, client care, Net Promoter Scores, and compliance. Their tenure in this position is ongoing.

Meghan Smith attended Pennsylvania State University-Penn State Mont Alto from 2002 to 2004, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Science Occupational Therapy. During this time, they also attended Penn State University, where they earned an Associate's degree in Arts and Sciences with a focus on Occupational Therapy.
