David Mateo has extensive experience in commercial lending and banking, currently serving as Vice President of Commercial Lending at BrightStar Credit Union since October 2018, after holding positions as AVP and Commercial Lending Manager. Prior professional experience includes roles as Senior Relationship Manager at Citi and Vice President | Senior Relationship Manager at HSBC. David also worked at Popular Bank as Vice President of Commercial Banking and spent several years at Citi in Wealth Management. David Mateo holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from Drexel University's LeBow College of Business and a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business, Banking, and Finance from Florida International University.
