Mary Long

Mary Long has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Mary started their career at Marvel Entertainment as a Bullpen intern in 2001. Later that year, they worked as a Lead Teacher at Creative Wonders Learning Center. In 2001, Mary joined Ruxton Health of Staunton as an Administrative Assistant, where they interacted with residents and completed various administrative tasks until 2004. Since 2004, Mary has been employed at Brightview Senior Living, initially as a Vibrant Living Director. In this role, they developed event calendars for residents and managed the department. Mary's work experience demonstrates their strong interpersonal skills, administrative abilities, and passion for promoting personal growth and fulfilling lifestyles for senior living residents.

Mary Long completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Fine Art: Drawing and Painting at James Madison University from 1999 to 2001. Prior to that, they attended Northern Michigan University from 1997 to 1999, where they studied Illustration. In 2003 and 2004, they pursued studies in Mental Health at Blue Ridge Community College. Mary then went on to Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, where they obtained a Master of Arts in Art Therapy with a focus on Psychology and Art Therapy from 2014 to 2018. In 2017, they also participated in the Leadership Greater Augusta (LGA) program, although it did not result in a degree or field of study.
