Ron Bryan has worked in various roles within the field of human resources. Ron started their career as a Human Resources Specialist at Aptium Oncology in 1995 and later became the Manager of Human Resources, overseeing employee relations, compensation, and staffing. Ron then transitioned to the role of Director of Compensation, Benefits & HRMS, where they managed compensation, benefits, and payroll functions. In 2004, they were promoted to Vice President of Human Resources & Administrative Services at Aptium Oncology, where they specialized in the design and development of outpatient cancer centers and managed multiple centers in affiliation with hospitals across the country. In 2013, they became a self-employed Human Resources Consultant, providing consulting services to various organizations. Currently, they are the Vice President of Human Resources at Brightview Senior Living, where they focus on retirement living options for older Americans. Throughout their career, Ron has gained expertise in areas such as human resources management, compensation, benefits, payroll, and HRMS implementation.
Ron Bryan, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, CBP, CCP, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology from Penn State University. Ron also holds a Master of Science degree in Organizational Behavior from New York University. In addition to their degrees, Ron has obtained several certifications throughout their career. Ron became a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) from World at Work in September 2008, and obtained the Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) certification from the same institution in October 2009. Ron also holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Certification from the HR Certification Institute, which they obtained in December 2001. Furthermore, they obtained the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM in January 2015. Ron's additional certifications include being an Analyst for the Predictive Index (PI), which they obtained from The Predictive Index in January 2016, and they also completed the Leadership Development Program (LDP) at the Center for Creative Leadership.
